Job Overview

• OPG has built a custom application called EIC (Ecosys Integration Centre) which is used to manage the Ecosys vendor application from Hexagon. Currently, OPG is going through an Ecosys upgrade project and consequently needs to upgrade the EIC application.
• EIC (Ecosys Integration Centre) is a custom application which acts as an integration hub for Ecosys, C55 from Copper Leaf and several other OPG applications. It is written in an older version of the OPG Application Framework and would need to be migrated to the new version of the OPG application framework which amongst others, uses Angular, SQL Server and JSON.
• The scope of work would include the following:
• Migrate (Rewrite) the EIC application to the newer version of the OPG Application Framework.
• Build enhanced Ecosys/Ecosys integration monitoring and trending capability and may include API integration with other monitoring tools currently in use at OPG, such as Dynatrace.
• Ensure all functionality in the current EIC application continues to work with the newer version of Ecosys, while staying compliant with current OPG Cybersecurity and Enterprise Strategy & Architecture standards.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate for this role will be highly skilled full stack developer with the following skills:
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, JSON, Azure Enterprise application management
• Advanced knowledge of .NET and Powershell/Batch files
• Knowledge of Websphere administration would be preferred
