Job Overview
- The job duties include but are not limited to supporting Major Component Replacement Projects, outage and innage work, system routine monitoring and performance, Preventive maintenance, etc. Work with operations, maintenance, projects, work control, vendor, etc.
- The Tritium Removal Facility (TRF)removes tritium from various CANDU units, Primary Heat Transport System, and Moderator water and extracts tritium from heavy water.
- TRF also provides Helium 3 as an isotope for many applications.
- The position is with station engineering team as system responsible engineer at TRF technical group.
- The job duties involves monitoring system parameters, supporting innage outage work, preventive maintenance for the equipment and components, contacting Original equipment manufacturer for troubleshooting, supporting operations and maintenance with daily asks
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering- Mechnical/ Chemical preferred.
- The position requires application of engineering fundamentals and supporting long term projects as well plant operations.
- A bachelor of engineering is a requirement.
- Preferred mechanical or chemical major; however, other areas are also accepted. Project experience is an asset. Proven communication skills and teamwork are a must.
